Major Grants

Charities may apply up to $150,000 over one year or $300,000 over two years.
There are three Major Grants categories in which to apply for funding:
Family
- Young people at risk of or experiencing disengagement
- Refugee & asylum Seekers
- Families with complex needs.
Health
- Inequalities in access to primary health care
- Chronic disease management
- Implementing a public health approach to promoting strategies or initiatives to prevent problems or reduce harm resulting from addictive behaviours within the community.
(Favourable consideration will be given to innovative projects that address one or more of the target areas and include one or more preventative components.)
Life Care
- Support services to alleviate the impact of natural disasters upon Victorian communities
- Provision of employment and social engagement opportunities for people with mental and/or physical disabilities
- Development and implementation of projects designed to address and alleviate domestic crises
- Opportunities for collaborative partnerships between agencies seeking to support individuals and families experiencing economic difficulty.
